Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide Powder (NMC 811)
NMC battery is a type of lithium ion battery. NMCs are one of the most important storage materials for lithium ion batteries and together they generate the NMC batteries cathode. NMC batteries stands for Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide battery. The nickel in the cathode is used for increasing energy and capacity, the manganese is provides stability and supporting the electrodes while the cobalt creates stability and increase the discharge capacity. NMC 811 is a variant of NMCs which has high rate of nickel and low rates of manganese and cobalt which makes it really high on energy density.
APPLICATIONS
NMC is the best choice for power tools, electric vehicles like electric power trains and e-bikes due to its high energy density and capacity. It is also used in smartphones, laptops and solar storage.
