H₂O & organic DHLG (dihydrolevoglucosenone) dispersion with Carbon Black concentration ranging from 1 to 3% w/w.

APPLICATIONS
BLACK PIGMENTS
UP Catalyst carbon black is a great alternative to conventional material used in pigments. It can lower the product’s CO₂ footprint up to 99% and prolong the pigment’s lifetime.
BATTERIES & SUPERCAPACITORS
Used as a conductive additive in energy storage applications, carbon black can improve electrode density and increase capacity.
INDUSTRIAL COATINGS
Increased anti-static and anti-corrosive behavior, which makes the coating applicable to off-shore environments. Appropriate also for marine applications with strong anti-fouling (slowing down the growth of marine organisms) properties.
ADHESIVES
UP Catalyst carbon black can reinforce adhesion properties, while reducing the carbon footprint of the end product at a lower cost.
